Your account

You're responsible for your account and anything posted under it. Keep your credentials secure, and use a real working email so we can reach you about your account.

Content you post

You keep ownership of what you write and post — reviews, comments, lists. By posting, you give us a license to display it within Checkpointd (e.g. on your profile, in feeds, in share cards you generate). Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.

Community standards

• No harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse.
• No spoilers outside of clearly marked spoiler content, where that feature exists.
• No spam, scraping, or automated bulk account creation.
• Crowdsourced game data (missions, quests, characters) should be accurate — moderators can reject submissions.

Violating these can get content removed or an account suspended, at our discretion.

Game data

Game titles, cover art, and metadata are sourced from IGDB and RAWG and belong to their respective rights holders. We display it under those services' terms, for the purpose of letting you track and discuss games you play.

No warranty

Checkpointd is provided as-is. We work to keep it running and your data intact, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and we're not liable for data loss, though we take reasonable steps to prevent it.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
